Pillage the Village--Historic Merchants Xmas gathering

Unfortunately our last PILLAGE THE VILLAGE had to be cancelled as many had conflicting events, and unfortunate things like work.  We hope to reschedule with OUT OF THE PAST  for another day.  This month we will be heading to:

Historic Merchants Christmas Gathering at the Royal Botanical Gardens

come out for out next shopping event for november, join many other members of the clockwork hammer at this event, at a local shop to follow. "we have been informed that if you show up in steampunk or victorian or 1812 attire" you will get free admission on that date to the show, and the RBG

Imagine yourself transported back in time to the early 19th century, when the local Christmas
Market was one of the social and shopping highlights of the year. Wander the aisles filled with
top quality merchandise -- al

l of which dates from between the years 1700 and 1919. Stop
and chat at one of the colourful stalls, staffed by a merchant dressed in period clothing. Listen
to the cheerful calls of the vendors who hawk their merchandise in period style. Feel the excitement and charm of Christmas in Upper Canada some 200 years ago.
